Trailridge Elementary students finished their classes on April 5, 2005 with a mini-tournament. Josh finished in 1st place with 603 instant matchpoints and Aaron finished second with 395 matchpoints. Two tables of bridge were in play with 7 boards from last spring's National Instant Matchpoint Competition. The students changed partners after each hand so that individual scores could be tracked.

Hawthorn Hill Elementary students finished their classes on March 31, 2005 with a mini-tournament. Zak finished in 1st place with 422 instant matchpoints but Cody Johnson finished a close second with 419 matchpoints. Two tables of bridge were in play with 7 boards from last spring's National Instant Matchpoint Competition. The students changed partners after each hand so that individual scores could be tracked.

Woodland Elementary's 4th through 6th grade ASPIRE class had their mini-tournament on February 25, 2005. Each student played 8 of 11 boards from last year's Matchpoint Competition. An adult friend, Mrs. Ansel Hindley, along with the classroom teacher, Mrs. Hartter, filled in to allow for three full tables of bridge. The winner of the match was Sam Langley.

Greenwood Elementary's 4th through 6th grade ASPIRE class had their mini-tournament on January 31, 2005. Each student played 8 of 11 boards from last year's Matchpoint Competition. Two adult friends, Mrs. Mary Bartram and Mrs. Ansel Hindley, along with the classroom teacher, Mrs. Hartter, (seen below), filled in to allow for three full tables of bridge. The winner of the match was Brett Hamilton, with Becky McKinney coming in a close second.

Hazel Grove Elementary's 4th grade ASPIRE class had their mini-tournament on January 13, 2005. 8 randomly dealt boards were played. Two sixth grade students from last year's class filled in to allow for three full tables of bridge. The winner of the match was Martha Weilert, with Quint Doan coming in a close second.
